Gilmour Academy was crowned 2024 MPHL Champions for the first time in program history. The Lancers won the regular season title as well this season. Gilmour went undefeated in the 5 game playoff tournament defeating Rice Memorial, Shady Side Acacemy, St. Francis in pool play, then Ridley College in the Semifinal game and Bishop’s College School in the championship game. The team was lead with stellar goaltending from Ryder Fetterolf and Connor Varmecky over the course of the 5 game weekend. The Lancers finished the season with only 1 MPHL loss going 13-1 in regular season play with its only loss to eventual league runner up Bishop’s College School. This season marks the 23rd season of play for the MPHL history and Gilmour Academy is an original member of the league. This year’s bronze medal winner was Rothesay Netherwood School who defeated Ridley College in the third place game.
